Marketing & Social Media Specialist
exploreMedia is hiring a Marketing & Social Media Specialist for their growing digital marketing agency, with a focus on the HVAC and Home Services niche. This position would be responsible for inbound lead generation through authority building media channels (podcasts, social, YouTube, etc.). The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of effective communication skills and strategies and be able to engage with people to make them know, like, and trust our products and team.
Job Responsibilities
- Reporting to the President in this role will be pivotal in driving growth of our brand through optimizing leads, digital marketing ROI and client acquisition cost
- Develop yearly and quarterly marketing calendar
Cold Outreach Efforts:
- Create and execute warm up emails for cold outreach automation using Instantly software
- Create lead generation automation funnels for clients
- Create cold outreach emails with case studies, customer testimonials and lead magnets
- Generate hot lead follow-up emails and newsletters
Marketing Channels & Collateral:
- Create short form lead generation video topics and scripts
- Create webinar and presentations using PowerPoint and Canva
- Coordinate advertising and marketing efforts for exploreHVAC and the president’s social channels
- Working with an in-house cross-functional team to implement strategies for social media, programmatic ads and emails, website, and Google adwords for the exploreHVAC efforts
- Manage and produce podcasts, along with scheduling & communicating with guests
- Update and create collateral pieces that can be used by sales
Measure & Evaluate:
- Data entry and reporting: Tracking KPIs and ad performance data using Google sheets, formulas
- Collect and evaluate results of efforts using Google Analytics and robust tools provided by the agency
- Manage detailed tasks, and project management systems using ClickUp
- Seek and lead new strategies that generate innovation and maximum ROI
- Optimize campaigns to maximize qualified inbound leads
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Tracking KPIs and ad performance data using Google sheets, formulas
- Able to work in-office 20-30 hours a week
- Ability to work under pressing deadlines
- Able to self-direct and properly manage one’s time effectively
- Excellent communication skills and ability to relay ideas clearly
- Ability to learn quickly and execute at a high level with speed
- Generally reachable and responsive to client Inquiries and team members
- Strict attention to detail and cross-checking information before campaigns are submitted for review
- Ability to problem solve and provide effective solutions to issues as they arise
- Proficiency with Google products: Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Analytics
- Proficiency with Canva and PowerPoint
- Ability to utilize ChatGPT with prompts that convey the personality of our brand
JOB REQUIREMENTS & CHARACTERISTICS:
- Experience in marketing strategy, leading marketing campaigns and demonstrating understanding of marketing fundamentals (marketing mix) through digital marketing channels
- Proven experience in a marketing agency or related role
- Ability to research, develop and communicate an executive marketing plan
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Experience with multimedia platforms, copywriting and quality control
- Strong research skills
- Creativity and ability to communicate ideas with images
- Attention to detail
- Collaborative team spirit
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
PAY STRUCTURE:
This is an hourly, part-time position based on experience.
- $18-$20/hour, based on experience
